CHMS Donoroo 2008!
Clarendon Hills Middle School "Donoroo CHMS" Extravaganza on Friday, May 30, 2008 in Clarendon Hills, Illinois raised $2,584 for The Foundation and another $2,584 for the starving people of Darfur, Sudan.
Kelly Ditmars was the main organizer of the event with a lot of help from her colleagues, and parents and students. Parents baked goods and displayed art work for sale at the event. The students
exhibited very diverse and honed set of talents and skills. Even the faculty showed they can still dance...dance real good, ya'll. Jim Cox, of the CHMS administration staff,
produced a touching slide show on Gavin and Engineers Without Borders and Teddy Owens, a 8th grader, created an eye-opening documentary
on the starving populace of Darfur, Sudan. Both shows were presented during CHMS Donoroo.
